Splinter's?!
Question: Splinter's!?
i have splinters all in my foot from walking on the dock today!. how do you get splinters out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
The best thing to do is soak the foot in warm/hot salt water!. This will disinfect the wound and make the skin as well as the splinter much softer for removing!. Lightly pat foot dry and then grab your tweezers and pull the splinters out!. The longer they are in there the more infection you risk!. After removing the splinters, wipe the foot down with rubbing alcohol or iodine to get deep down in there to kill bacteria!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ouch! The easiest way that I have removed splinters is to soak the affected area in warm water to allow the skin to soften!. Using tweezers, Gently pull out splinter(s) For deeper ones you may need to use a sterilized sewing needle and pull a bit of skin up with this to remove the splinter!. Good luck!. Remember to keep the area clean to avoid infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If the splinters aren't deep use a pair of clippers to gently clip the skin and remove the splinter with a piece of tape!. Tweezers will only tear the shin and may not remove all the wood pieces!. Soak the foot in Epsom salts to remove any germs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you need to disinfect it w/ alcohol getly, not pushing it more in!. then you take a needle, that has been wiped in alcohol, and carefuly go under the very top of your skin, and get it out!. at the end, disinfect it again, soak in water, and go to sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com
With a sterile needle, and tweezers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
