Question: No one is answering my other one so someone PLEASE answer this one!.!.!.!?
okay so wednesday night my ankle ( inside part) started hurting REALLY bad and i couldnt walk!.!.!.!.the pain went away thursday but came back on friday, and was still here today!.!.!.its a little swollen, and bruised!.!.!.its not really tender to touch!.!.!.but it hurts like heck!.!.!.!.my parents think im being dramatic!.!.!.so they wont take me to the doctor!.!.i didnt twist it or anything!.!.!.have any ideas on what happend!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like something is wrong with a tendon or something like that in your ankle it could have happened when you were walking or something!.!.!. keep icing elevating and take some motrin to get the swelling to go down!.!.!. maybe check out webmdWww@Answer-Health@Com

Some Causes of ankle pain are due to

Accidents
Sports activities
Lifting weights
Wearing high heeled shoes
Running or walking on uneven ground
Bending or overexertion of a joint beyond the normal motion
Unexpected response of the body due to sudden loose of balance

You can do some preliminary remedies for that by using

Pineapple:
Eat raw pineapple, its helps in reducing the pain and swelling

Turmeric Powder:
Put one-half teaspoon of turmeric powder with warm water twice a day!.

Turmeric Juice:
Put one teaspoon in hot milk, drink before bedtime, it helps reducing pain

Ice Pack:
Apply in an injured joint until swelling reduced or subsided

Onions:
Chopped and wrap in a clean cloth and wrap it in the affected area

Almond and garlic oil:
Apply topically, massage evenly in affected area

Arnica:
In cream form, OTC, apply topically in the affected area

Lime:
Make a paste by combining one teaspoon of lime powder and one teaspoon of honey and apply in the affected area!.

Cabbage:
Warm the outer leaves of a cabbage in hot water and bandage around the sprain using a piece of cloth to hold in place!.

Prevention for ankle pains

Avoid over bending the joints
Avoid wearing tight and high-heeled shoes
Exert extra care when walking or running in uneven grounds

If engaged in sports, always perform stretching to prevent injuries and use proper protective gears and or accessories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Either you're leaving something out of this question, or your parents aren't very responsible!. If my child had a bruised up leg and severe pain I'd be taking her to the hospital to find out whats wrong, and asking where the bruises came from!. Talk to your parents again, explain to them that you really do think there's something wrong, and you'd really appreciate it if they'd take you to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be a rare bone cancer that happens mainly in teens while their bones are developing!. I would recommend going to the doctor and I work at a school part time!.!.!.and I have seen many kids come and go because of this rare cancer!. I would show your parents my post here on yahoo!!

Well, I have an extra bone in my foot (many people have it) and sometimes it rubs against things and makes things swell and bruise a tiny bit!. Maybe that's what is happening!. You should really go to the doctor though!. Tell your parents all the things that you are feeling and tell them that you are 100% serious and not being dramatic about this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you bumped into something or fell and it didn't start hurting until later on!. Tell you parents you can't walk and just sit around all day until they take you to the hospital for x-rays!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It may be something like adoema or gout!. Especially if you take a lot of sodium in your diet!. Try cutting out some salts and drinking lots of water, see if it helps at all!. idk, sound really strange that you it just started hurting out the blue but i suggest icing it 15mins 3x a day and get rest!. if it continues, then i suggest telling your parents that it's something serious and get them to take you to the docs!. feel better :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is swollen then lay down and prop it up on a pillow so that it is raised above your heart!. This should help the swelling go down because the fluid is being pumped back into your heart!. If this doesn't work and ice doesn't either, then go to the doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you think you didn't do anything to hurt it and then claim it's hurt, why else would it be swollen!? maybe you are too active throughout the day and it is starting to affect your ankles, or if you're carrying a hefty load!.!.maybe that is it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You probably bruised the bone and skin it will make your ankle pretty sore but if you still feel pain after a few days you may want to go to the doctors just incase good luck!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you possibly have busted a blood vein!. Worse case, maybe a pinched nerve!. Call and talk to your doctor's nurse or an E R nurse and see what they say!. Wrap it with a ace bandage for support and take an Advil!. Advil is an anti-inflammatory and will also help with pain!. If it persist, make your parent aware and tell them your serious as hell!.
