How long is it normal to have a headache?!

Question: How long is it normal to have a headache!?
I've been sick over a month!. Got treated for a sinus infection!. (Had three courses of antibiotics and a course of steroids) Went to ENT who said I may have sinus prob, but he thinks my headache has to do with migraine too!. So I went to doc and got migraine and pain meds!. I've had migraine before, and it seems like after the worst of the pain a headache hangs around for like two days!. Anyone else with migraine find this normal!?!?!? I am so tired of having a headache!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is common that if you suffer from migraines that you Will have headaches for a few days later!. However, if this continues you should see your doctor about it!. There are specialist to deal with migraines!. My sister was getting very bad migraines they found that it was because of MSG (she was eating to much of it in her diet) she stop eating it and her migraines went away !. You might want to try changing your diet to see if that helps!. Also, exercising helps to stimulate hormones in your body, this might help as well!. It's not normal!. You are quite right!.

Have you recently moved!? To a new apartment/house!? Or to a new altitude!? Did you get anything that may have a chemical that you are sensitive to!? Like a heater or a mattress or pipes!? Have you had your place checked for fumes of any sort!? Do you have a carbon monoxide dectector!? Have any of your neighbors fumigated their property!?

What have you changed right before the headaches started!? It could be anything!. Certain fabric soaps make my mom and I ill!. Some plants make others miserable!.

Have you begun taking any sort of medicine over the counter or herbal or prescription other than the meds for treating the headaches!?

I know these are a lot of questions!. And you could have acquired a sensitivity to something that was already established in your life, as well!.

Are there any times when you feel consistantly well!? At all!?

I really hope you feel better soon!. And manage to get to a doctor that will test your urine, blood, and scan your brain!. Not that you could have something bad happening, but to rule it out!.

Sincerely, good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I actually take medication for migranes!. When I get one mine simmer down or completely go away within an hour!. At first they were perscribing me medicine that was really just tylenol!. Then I had to have a catscan on my head and there was no problem!. I had to see a neurologist and that was no help!. I also sinus problems like you and they thought that caused my migranes!. They also thought it was my blood pressure but it was never high!. To make a long story short I made them perscribe me some real migrane medicine!. I currently take imitrexand Axert!. Maxalt is suppose to be good but it takes longer to me!. If you can get your doctor to perscribe some imitrex or axert you should be fine!. Also to be on the safe side it, if you have insurance it would not hurt to have a catscan to check for neurological problems or possible anurisims!. Also have blood pressure and cholestorol checked!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
