Question: My daughters foot is swollen, bruised and sore!?
My daughter had a bit too much to drink last night!.
When I was taking her home, she miscalculated the kerb and fell!. she complained then about her foot, and had trouble walking on it!.
This morning she has phoned to say it's bruised and swollen!.
It's about half way down the outside of her foot!. she can walk if she doesn't put any weight on that side, so she says at the minute she's lifting that side of her foot up and putting weight on the inside, along the big toe!.
Should I take her to have it x-rayed!? She's 23 and embarrassed about it!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Probably not worth taking her to hospital at the moment as would be waiting for a long time and even if it was broken nothing they could do!. Best thing to do would be the rice method!.

Yes, take her to x-ray as soon as possiblle if you wait too long something might happen like really bad tell her not to be embarressed , just make something up not that she was drunk but she was running and then she fell!.!.!.!.her foot will get wores if you wait

they usually dont do anything for a broken foot!. she needs to keep it raised when shes at home and ice will help also!. then warm, then ice!.!.!.and some ibuprofen!. Hope she feels better soon,Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't just go get an x-ray!. A doctor has to order it!. Call her doctor - he or she will decide if an x-ray is needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yep, I would get it x-rayed just to be on the safe side!. It might just be strained, but better to be sure nothings broken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
