Answers:
Tylenol is more for pain, the swelling will go away with the amoxicillin but your pain will go away with Tylenol!. About 500 mg should do the job for a couple of hours, you can probably go up to 1000mg 2 twice and day not 2000 mg all at once and be safe, but it will make the pain go away!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are throat lozenges called Strepsil and other types like it that do help relive the pain!. I tried them recently for a bad sore throat and they work much better then a product like Halls!. You can also try gargling with salt water!. To do this fill a cup with lukewarm water and stir in about a teaspoon of salt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

antiboitics!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will have to go to your doctor or clinic and get the strep test, to make sure it is strep throat!. Doctor will likely do a "rapid strep test" right in the office!. If the result is positive you will be placed on antibiotics (for 10 days)!. This streptococcus bacteria can only be treated with antibiotics!. Within 24 hours you will start to feel better, but continue taking the antibiotics until they are finished!. If it is not strep throat, hot liquids, rest and tylenol will help while the cold/sore throat runs its course!.

Strep is painful, and swallowing is a very difficult!.
Avoid orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemonade, or other acidic beverages, which may irritate your throat!. Warm liquids like soups, sweetened tea, or hot chocolate can be soothing!.

You will feel much better mentally and physically once you have it diagnosed and taking medication!.
