If you are positive it's a sinus infection, then yes you must take antibiotics!. But it might not be and since you obviously haven't been to a doc, this could be the case!. A sure fire way to kick it before it gets bacterial is to drown your body with water/fluids and to keep on the decongestant all hours!. If you drink water or something like it (sodas won't do it, sorry) to the point you are annoyed with going to the bathroom so much, then it will flush our your system and get the drainage flowing properly!. I do this all the time and it works after 2-3 days of seriously staying on the water!. Water is good for you anyway so it's a win win really!.
Keep on the sudafed or a decongestant, drink water until you think you can't drink anymore and do this all throughout the day!. If it's not bacterial yet, this will be gone within 4 days max and it will save you a doc visit and meds!.
If you are having chills that are flu-like, then get to the doc soon!. If the chills seem to be in the beginning stages, not so bad yet or just sort of body achey, then you can probably go the way I've described and be OK!.
Good luck, now go drink some H2O!. :-)

Most children should not be given antibiotics for a sinus infection unless there are both nasal discharge and cough without any improvement after 10 to 14 days!. If there is some improvement by day 10, antibiotics are probably not justified!.
Children with severe symptoms (facial swelling, facial pain, a fever above 103
