Question: Torn UCL in thumb!?

Does anyone know how long I can go without gettting a torn ulnar collateral ligament fixed!? I tore it on Thursday and I can't life my thumb up now!. I have had it repaired twice before and it happened again!. Will he repair it or fuse it this time!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have it repaired by a Board Certified Hand surgeon and make sure it's really securely splinted, in position of function, for at least 6 weeks!.

Tendons and their sheaths do not fuse and must be reconnected surgically!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
