Reality,
Thanks for the additional details and your positive comments regarding the chiropractic profession in general!. I am a chiropractor and would like to help if possible!. Could you give further information regarding the results of the MRI and EMG studies which you have had so far!? Did the MRIs and x-rays include the low back/hip/and thigh!? Also, have you had problems in these areas before!? What do you think may have brought these problems on (past history of injury, excessive stress, any other health history)!? Don't feel obligated to give any information which you are not comfortable sharing but it would be helpful to know more about your case!. Even knowing the length of time you have been under the different types of care (medical/chiropractic) and whether there is any positive changes with any of the types of care to date will help!. Respectfully, Dr!. AlWww@Answer-Health@Com

you probably have a inflamed bursa which means you need a cortizone shot which will take away inflamation and keep you out of pain and discomfort for 2-4 months!.!.!.!.relly helps but cost is about 300-400 bucks but best money ever spent!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

1st, stay away from Chiropractors if you do not know what is wrong with your back, you run the risk of a worse injury if you don't!.
What part of you back was the MRI done on, because it needs to be done on your lower lumbar region!. When you have hip and leg "zapping and needles" it is almost always your sciatic nerve!. You very likely have a ruptured disc, into the Sciatic nerve, its a very common problem, and for some reason it is very hard to get a doctor to do anything about it!. I know that it seems odd to have the inital problem be in your back when you feel it in you hip and leg, but the sciatic nerve will exhibit displaced pain anywhere it runs!. The sciatic nerve starts at your spine, the runs across your lower back to your hip, across the hip, down your thigh across your knee down your shin and into your big toe!. So you can feel the pain anywhere along that path and likely the pain will keep going towards your toe in your case, instead of towards your lower back!. Do you drag your foot at all!? In not and it starts you are almost past the point of no return!.
I don't know what specialist that you saw but my strong recommendation is if you want the problem to end take all of your "XRays, mri's, etc!." to a Neurosurgeion and get that nerve taken care of before it is permanetly damaged!.

Good Luck

Edit: I almost never do this since of course i'm not a doctor, but I have suffered from this and it makes me upset that you never mentioned your Sciatic nerve, it seems to me you would have, if the doctors would have mentioned it to you!. I can promise you if your pain is truly Zapping you when you walk (and no one knows that pain if they haven't suffered it)
That your Sciatic Nerve is compromised!. You must have a MRI to find the point of origin (lower lumbar, probably either //L4,5 or 6) XRays will now show this as they do not detect soft tissue damage!. By the way, you are so mean, maybe professionals would be more apt to help you if you were a bit nicer, My goodness, I hope you recieve the help you need soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
