What does "take four times daily" mean?!

There are 24 hours in a day, so you take 24 and divide that by 4 (4 times a day), which is 6, so you take the medication every 6 hours!. Example, if you take the first dose at 8am, your next dose is at 2pm, the next at 8pm, etc!. Take the prescribed dosage (1 pill, 2 pills, 1 tsp, etc!.) every 6 hours!. Do not ever take more than the prescribed amount, and if you forget a dose and it's close to the next time you take the medication, don't double up!. This could cause an overdose of the medication and serious health problems!. If you ever have any questions about how or when to take your medication, ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist!. It's better to be safe than sorry!.
