Tommy John Surgery?!

Question: Tommy John Surgery!?
I'm nearly 16 and I had Tommy John Surgery on March 25!. I play softball, as well!. I am now about 6 weeks out of surgery and in rehab!. I was swimming the other day with no problems, but I found out that people do that more around 11 weeks!. I was lightly swinging a bat and hitting off a tee lightly the other day with no pain or swelling at all!. I accidently forgot and threw a ball a short distance very softly, and that did hurt, and I made a point not to put myself in that situation again bc that was STUPIDDD!. I am NOTTT trying to push myself too hard, I do only what I can tolerate without any pain!. Is it possible that I just rehab quicker than normal!? Also - how long before I could designate hit/play first base!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Pitchers usually take 12 months, and position players 6 months to recover!. You're young and it will probably go a little quicker due to that!.

Your doctor should be recommending stretghening exercises to help it along!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
