I think you get the general idea from everyone responding!. If for some reason those responses don't work, here is another!. All you need is ice water and a few cotton balls!. Soak a cotton ball or two in the ice water!. Squeeze out most of the water and place the cottonball between your upper lip and gum line!.!.!.just above your front teeth!.
The rationale behind this technique:
Your oral cavity contains thermoreceptors!. Vasoconstriction occurs under cold conditions, therefore by placing the ice cold cotton ball in the gum line should cause the the vessels above and in the nose to constrict!. Have a tissue to absorb the blood coming out of your nose!. A lot of people do this, but do not lay down or tilt your head back because the blood runs down your throat causing you to swallow it and can make you nauseous!. So with a tissue in one hand, with the other, pinch the bridge of your nose!. Just be patient and eventually it should stop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
apply firm pressure, also, roll a small piece of toilet paper or paper towel and put under the top part of your lip, directly under your nose, leave it there, for alittle while, it will put pressure to the vessels that lead to your nose, and will clot the bleeder, and will stop the bleeding!. take a tissue and hold your nose so the bleeding stops then while you are doing that tilt your head forward not back because if you tilt your head back, the blood will go back into your mouth and then you will have to spit it out and i dont think you want that!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most people have it right here!. Definitely lean forward!. However do not pinch the bridge of your nose!. You pinch the nostrils together!. Try for 5 minutes!. If it hasn't stopped try another 5 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pressure, gently squeeze the nose about half way down or a little higher!. You can also put something absorbant in there to apply pressure and soak up the blood too!. Ice can also help slow it down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
