Bella! I quit 39 years ago, after smoking 3 and one half packs a day!. I had been smoking since I was 15 years old I am soon to be 68 and have never regretted a day of it since!. I had been coughing my fool head off for years and everyone would tell me the same thing every smoker hears, that cigarettes were going to kill me, I had the usual answer smokers reply with, that you have to die o something!. However I woke up one morning coughing up blood!. I remembered watching my grandpa bleeding to death from smoking! I decided at that moment that I was not going to die that way, and I have never smoked since!. You can quit if you make up your mind to it!. Fear is a great motivator!. Had I not quit, I firmly believe that I would have died many years ago!. You can quit cold turkey as I did!. Do not try to slack off as it does not work!. Just keep your goal in mind for your children's sake!. If your husband smokes, ask him if he will quit also, neither of you will ever be sorry that you did!. No one smokes in my home, ever! I can tell if a smoker has even been my home for several hours afterwords, and I never knew how much it stunk, until I quit!. Any ex smoker will tell you the same! Good Luck and God bless you and your children!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Think of it like this - if you can do two days you an do another two!. Keep thinking like that and time will fly by!. Also think of that fact that if you keep it up you're very likely to have your child watch you die a very slow, painfull and propably early death because you cant breathe!. My nana smoked and she got some horrrible diesease which made her lungs fill up with some gunky stuuf and she drowned from the inside!. She was only 55 at the time! Live yor life, dont give in to a filthy habit which is going to cost you more than you can imagine at this point in time! Be strong and think of your future! peace xWww@Answer-Health@Com

After 5 days it gets really easy, after that the cravings go away and its just the routine of smoking that you have to break!. What I mean is, not having a smoke when you wake up or not having one after a meal or after sex or whenever, Once you get over that your there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I gave up 15 months ago and yes it is difficult, but the rewards are great! you won't smell horrid anymore, you will have more money, your house will smell better and your white paintwork won't go yellow!. Go out and about, stand outside a shop where people are smoking and it stinks and they stink, but you will smell fresh and be able to say UGH - I AM A NON SMOKER! - good luck ~x~Www@Answer-Health@Com

good for you that you're stopping!. but my mom used to smoke too and she said what helped her most was the nicotine gum and keeping her mouth busy by sucking on sugar free or any kind of suckers!. i hope you get the strength to quit smoking for good, and good luck with the baby!Www@Answer-Health@Com
