Question: I need to stay up all night, with restrictions!. Any tips!?
I got screwed having to cover a graveyard shift tonight, which I normally don't do!. I tried to get some sleep during the day but it didn't work, and to make things worse I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night so I'm going to struggle!. I can't take showers or listen to music at work!.!.!. there are times when I need to walk around but others when I need to stay at a computer and pay attention!. I'm mostly concerned about the drive home in the morning!.!.!. certainly don't need to die for my employer!. Any tips would help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The walks will help you more than anything, and you may want to take a 10-20 minute walk before you get into your car!. It will energize you!. I used to work third shift for an alarm company and on the nights when I wasn't kept awake by my goofy coworkers, I would pace and even do jumping jacks and stuff!. Then I'd take a walk around the block before I got into my car!. Bring with you a big thermos full of coffee and drink some every hour!. If you feel sleepy get up and stretch or go to the bathroom and splash cold water on your face!. If you only have to drive a little ways you should be fine!. But you shouldn't drive on the expressway!. In the morning if you really have to you should try to pull into a empty parking lot and take a nap, or have someone pick you up and go get your car a later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get 5 hour energy! No ENERGY DRINKS!!!! if you have an energy drink you'll crash and it might happen before you get home and that's a gamble you should try to avoid! Get 5 hour energy (it doesn't make you crash), and sing a lot! Tapping your feet and using pens like drums can pass time if you really get into it! If your on the computer play games on addictinggames!.com or if you can't play games, read about the news and interesting stuff to keep your mind interested and not tired!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel your pain!. Try splashing cold water on your face and drinking coffee or energy drinks!. The younger you are the easier it will be to get through it!. Just don't get yourself so jacked up on caffeine that you can't sleep in the morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
