Question: Suffering hip pain!!!HELP!?
hi, i know this is odd but im going mad lol i have had a horrible pain in my left hip for 4 years on and off at this point in time the pain is in both hips and the pain is unbeliavble!!!!it clicks when i walk sort of feels like its grinding,the clicking is always there but the pain eased off,it only started hurting just a few days ago when the weather got warmer!!i dont have alot of movement and it is restricting my job!!!your probally asking why i havent been to the gp well i have on loads of occaisons and he rekons theres nothing wrong!!!but it is getting progressisvly worse and i dont no what to,i cant even sleep :( please helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

This could be osteoarthritis!. I have had a similar pain for a bit longer than 4 years, first one hip , then the other with periods of respite in between!. I finally went to the doc and he sent me for an x-ray which revealed I had osteoarthritis!. Exercise is main treatment with painkillers when it really hurts!. Hip replacement when you can't do things any more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is my recent radiology report !.PELVIS degenerative change involving both hip joints with almost complete joint space narrowing on the left side and moderately severe jointspace narrowing on the right LUMBAR SPINE there is degenerative changewith moderative narrowing of the l2 l3 and l5 l1 discs!. what its sayin g is my hip and spine bones are eroding away !. I,m sitting here in pain cos i wont see a doctor !. I will probably end up in a wheelchair in the very near future !. You didnt say how old you are , im 61!.
