When I had a severe sunburn, what I used was towels soaked in milk!. It takes the pain and heat out!. Once the towel is warm, resoak it in cold milk and apply again!. Then using aloe vera gel or aloe vera gel with lidocaine will help the pain a lot and keep it moist so your skin doesn't dry out!.

Noxema!. The stuff in the dark blue jar!. Put a generous layer on your burned skin, cover with thin T shirt material clothing, yes, it will stick to the clothes, but it doesn't stain!. It can be washed out of all clothes and bedding!. Aloe gels are sometimes useful, but for quick, cool relief, !.!.!.Noxema cream!.
You can also make symptoms better by taking one Benadryl tablet (the antihistamine, not the decongestant form) it reduces the swelling and water retention and pain!.
Cold damp towels draped over the burns helps, change often!.
Vaseline petroleum jelly will work and won't come completely off when used with cold towels!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh shoo, I wish I could remember the name of it, but they have this spray for sunburns that numbs the pain and also lots and lots of pure aloe vera gel!. I got a severe burn all over my legs a few years back and also had heat exhaustion!. It was horrid!. I couldn't even lay down or sit!. My husband found this spray at Walmart and it worked wonders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should buy an aloe vera plant!. They will grow inside, and when you get a burn of ANY kind, just pinch off a piece and rub the sap all over your burn and it will feel loads better!.
