Cut that won't heal?!

Question: Cut that won't heal!?

I have a cut right across the crease where my pinky finger knuckle bends!. It absolutely refuses to heal no matter what I do!.

I'm keeping it clean and dry and using Neosporin!. I've tried bandaids, I've tried liquid bandaid, I've even tried nail polish and Super Glue!.

Nothing will stick to the inside of the cut/crease and it just keeps re-opening!.

Any ideas how to get this thing to heal!? I'd feel stupid taking a little finger cut to a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like it keeps opening because you bend your finger!. You're going to have to keep it straight with a popsicle stick or something until it heals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not to scare you or anything, but it might be serious!. In my wellness class in college last semester, we were talking about warning signs of serious health problems, and one of them was having a cut or sore that won't heal!. Sometimes this means something may be wrong with you immune system or lymphatic system!. I'd go to the doctor just to be on the safe side!. It's probably nothing, but then you'll know for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Leave it open while sleeping!. If you don't get your hands dirty leave the cut opened during the day!.
Get checked for diabetes!. Unhealing sores are one of the primary symptoms of diabetes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put a baid aid and wrap it so you can't bend that part of your finger, the constant bending is opening it up over and over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just keep it as straight as you can!.it will eventually heal!. thumb cuts are even worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
