Would exercising help to get rid of varicose veins?!

Question: Would exercising help to get rid of varicose veins!?
I've always had fairly visible veins on my legs but when i was pregnant I got varicose veins which haven't gone!. I know the doctor won't do anything for them, so I was wondering if lots of regular exercise would help get rid of them or if there were any other ways to get rid of them yourself!.

My thinking behind the exercise is that if I got the blood pumping then it may shift some of the pooled blood in the veins!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Avoiding standing still prevents them getting worse and spreading!. The ones you already have will not 'go with exercise!.' Exercise will not rebuild the incompetent valves between the deep veins and superficial (varicose) veins you have!.!.!.but it will help pump blood back towards the heart and reduce back pressure on the superficial veins (which makes them get worse)!.

The doctor can do things for the varicose veins you have e!.g!. vein stripping, injections!. Go and see your doctor who can refer you to a surgeon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exercising will cause more stress on the veins in your legs and will likely cause them to increase in size rather than eliminate them!. It is "blood pumping" that caused them in the first place!. There are non-surgical treatments but as they also depend on drugs combined with constrictive support hosiery (elastic stockings) they are not popular among young women!. Save up your money and go for private surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will not get rid of existing varicose veins except through surgery, cosmetic if you can afford it, or NHS!. Through diet and exercise you can prevent new ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Certainly exercise will help prevent to occurence of the varicose veins but I don't think that this remove existing ones although it should stop them getting worse!. You do need to see the GP with this - support stockings or an operation may be needed !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ring NHS direct on 08454647!. They will give you professional, helpful and fully confidential advice!.
