Percocet and Clariten D?!

Question: Percocet and Clariten D!?
My sister just had a baby 2 wks ago and is taking percocet 5mg, every 4-6 hours!. She woke up this morning with a very bad sinus headache and congestion!. She suffers a lot from this and usually takes clariten D which helps tremendously, but doesn't want to take it along with the percocet!. She called the pharmacy and they told her to call her doctor, but her doctors office is closed today!. Does anyone know if this is bad combo or would she be ok to go ahead and take the clariten d!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It should be fine!. Percocet doesn't interact with Claritin and pseudoephedrine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pharmacist should know, normally they have a database they can run this off!. Google the active ingredients in the Claritin D along with "drug interaction" or "adverse interactions" or just along with Percocet!. Something should come up to help you!. You could also try calling another pharmacy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm very surprised the pharmacist didn't know!. Did she talk to the pharmacist or pharmacy assistant!? I don't think Clariten D and Percocet would interfer with each other!. I'm just concerned if she's breast feeding!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's never good to mix drugs and especially if she is breast feeding she shouldn't be taking the percocet either or anything without discussing it with her doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

check with you local pharmacist where you
