Answers:
Rest, rest and more rest!.
Apply an ice bag for 10 minutes on, 30 minutes off, to reduce swelling!.
Don't try to walk or bear weight!. Go home and sit in a recliner with your leg elevated with a pillow under the knee for support!. Once the swelling goes down in a day or two, you can then have it evaluated for broken bones, cracked bones/joints, or torn muscles!. If the muscle is completely torn away from the bone, you will definitely be able to see it because it will look like a rubberband bunched up under your skin and probably not too painful to touch (but no weightbearing, ok!?)
Take Excedrin to reduce pain and inflammation!.
This sounds like something a bit more than a pulled hammy!.
Next time stretch!.
Better yet, recover from this and get into shape!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
