If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it!

Question: If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them!?
Answers:
Yes the ambulance does stop to help the person!. and would call for another ambulance to go to first call!. Ambulances still have to obey the rules of the road!. If the ambulance keep goin they could be charged with leaving the scene of an accident not to mention patient abandonment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not sure why everyone seems to think this is a good question!. Logically, it would make sense that the ambulance would stop to help the person it hit, and call another ambulance to pick up the first call!. The guy ahead of me who wrote that the ambulance would have damage is absolutely right!. It would probably be imobile or extremely hard to drive!. Sorry Britt, YOU'RE wrong, not the girl in front of you!. Is it just me or is this all just common sense!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The girl before me was wrong if by some very minute chance, that an ambulance runs over a person then the ambulance would keep driving to the requested location and call in another ambulance to get that person, it wouldn't make sense if the ambulance stopped and rang another ambulance to go all the way again does it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When a car hits someone the person generally does quite abit of damage to the car (not like in the movies) so it might not be a question of should we stop to help the person we've ran over instead of the person who made the emergency call rather we need to stop because we've hit someone and the windscreen is out and the bumper is tangled up under the right wheel!. Interesting moral dilemma never the less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They don't always!. It does happen that they hit another car or pedestrian now and then!.

Adrenaline sometimes distorts their logic!. The emergency might be the determining factor depending upon the level of seriousness!. Then again the person they hit may be in worse shape!. Hopefully they would check it out and bring the innocent bystander along but!.!.!.they could be sued if their emergency patient dies or suffers additional problems due to the prolonged trip time!.

Then again they would be leaving the scene of an accident!.

I believe that like fire trucks they would continue on to their primary destination!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it is not good to do so!!! Playuing with somebody's life is not good!!! MAy be the emergency on the first is not so important as the ambulance has made itself!!! So it is not good to do so, or let it to be done so!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure, i would think that they would stop and help them and radio in that they need anouther ambulance to head out to help the person who called!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
