Answers:
You just rammed a stake through your lip!. It's gonna swell because of the injury!. your body doesn't know that it was on purpose!. It may be red right around the piercing, but the redness should not spread onto your face or be getting any worse at this point!. If it is, go to the doctors!. Clean it with whatever they told you to!. Salt water sounds fine for a mouth piercing!. Some listerine might be good, but try a little bit or dilute it first!. It might really burn!. Sterile is not a possibility becasue it is in your mouth!.
Piercings anywhere have a bump of skin where the metal is going in!. This surprised me when I got my belly button done, but it goes away when the piercing finally heals completely!. I want to say a few months!. If you worried, go to the place that pierced it for a "check up!. They will know what looks normal!. If you think it's infected, go to a doctor!. Your don't exactly want a face infection to get out of control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sea salt water!? Was it sterile!?

Go to the doctor you may have an infection!

Clean it with sterile water and get some antibiotic or disinfectant in spray or powder form!Www@Answer-Health@Com
