Question: My Doctor Ordered an EMG and Spinal Tap On Me Today!?
Because of two herniated Disc in my back, I received in an injury 4 years ago!. I had to have two Total Knee replacements and am still having pain in my Knees!. The EMG showed no permanent Nerve Damage, so I am wondering if I will have to have Back Surgery!. Does anyone have any experience with this problem!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tom is correct!. The EMG is ordered to make sure there is no Nerve Damage because according to Most Doctors and as much as I know about the subject, there is no cure for Nerve Damage!. The Herniated Disc are probably pinching a Nerve causing excessive Pain in your Back and yes Knees!. We have Nerves all over our body and Injury's will cause them to Hurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The no permanent nerve damage means the nerves are, or should be, working properly!. Back surgery would be done in this case if needed to PREVENT permanent damage!.
The knee pain and back injury should be unrelated!. We are all getting older!.
