Is This Appendicitis, or Strained Muscle?!

Question: Is This Appendicitis, or Strained Muscle!?
I woke up this morning with a slight pain in my bottom right side!. I feel very well, have no nausea/vomitting or fever, and can eat as much as I want!.

I pressed around to see if I could find where the pain was coming from, and found one particular spot!. It seems to be right on top of the back of my hip bone!. My rib muscles tend to ache a little bit as well!.

I don't think that this is appendicitis; to me it seems more like a muscle strain!. And I've woken up with this sort of pain before, with it going away!.

I'm 15, healthy, male!. (if that's useful information)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a former "RN"!. Doesn't sound like appendicitis!. Pain is usually elicited on the abdomen!. Could you have pulled a muscle while exercising or working out!? Typically, appendicitis is accompanied by other symptoms and you feel quite ill (see the nice list someone else posted)!.
That being said, if it gets worse or is accompanied by other symptoms, see your MD!. Could you be having "growing pains"!? My sons said their bones hurt when they were about your age - do your knees hurt as well!? Tell your parents you are concerned and see if it gets better or worse!. Feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
