Question: Lumber puncher / Spinal Tap!?
I had a lumber puncher done last night to diagnose viral meningitis!. It was so painful it took a few attempts to get it right!. Imediatly i had pain in my left hip and into my left leg!. Today the day after my lower back is very sore and im still getting shooting pains from my lower back into my left hip and leg!. Is this normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is not normal but not dangerous
what happened is that the tiny tip of the spinal needle they used just touched a spinal nerve root supplying your left lower limb!.
It happens and cant be avoided even in experienced hands!.
In most cases they resolve after few days because it is just a touch to the nerve!.
