Creaking and pain after hill walk...?!
Question: Creaking and pain after hill walk!.!.!.!?
I went on quite a strenuous and steep hill walk at the weekend and woke up with pain in the backs of my ankles, I wore heels to work that day thinking it nothing more than overwork but by the time I went home I couldn't walk downstairs or bend my ankles (flex or point)!. They are now 'creaking' or 'grinding' whenever I bend them and are painful!

I would advise you to try and stay off your feet as much as possible for a few days! You have really worn out the muscles in your ankles/feet and so the rest of your foot is taking a beating because your muscles have worn out!. You don't want to permanently injure yourself! Staying off your feet and keeping them up or soaking them in epsom salts and /or icing them should help:D Have fun in Scotland!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get a bowl big enough for both feet!. Run hot water and Epsom salt!. Take shoes off and plop both feet in for a soak, 15-20 min!. Dry afterward!. Enjoy!Www@Answer-Health@Com
