Question: Belly Piercings!?
When i was 16 i had my belly button pierced, it didnt hurt at all but after 7 weeks it was realy painfull, it felt like the bar was resting on a nerve, i took it out one night and as soon as i took the bar out the pain went!. i want to get it re-done!. any suggestions!? should i ask them to change the position ever so slightly!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Considering that the navel is the center of the body where you were once connected to your mother the odds of hitting a nerve center at any point where it is pierced are extremely high!. If you do have it redone it may be wise to just pierce a small fold of loose skin above or below the navel!. This would be just as fashionable and would guarantee you pain free!. Hope this helps!. A reputable firm will know where the piercing should go!. One thought, as you said it was painful but the pain stopped when you took it out, is that the metal used was not of a high quality!. Do some research on what metal is used!. Titanium is the best!. A lot of bars are made of stainless steel!. It could also be that you had a reaction to the type of metal that was used!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If the hole from the first piercing has closed up, they will have to adjust the spot for the new one because of scarred skin!. I've never heard someone describe that kind of pain with their belly button ring but it certainly doesn't sound fun!. Good luck with this time!

ask the next person who does the peierercing not to use so much skin, this can make the chances of infectuion ect!. less!. as long as it is fully heald i dont see any reason why it cant be dont in the same place againWww@Answer-Health@Com
Maybe you should speak with your doctor before having it pierced again!. You may be more sensitive to piercings in general, allergic reactions to certain metals, etc!.!.!. Never hurts to get a more professional opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
