Question: I bit my lip yesterday after a dentist appointment because my mouth was numb!?
I went to the dentist yesterday for a filling and they numbed my lip!. When I got home I was hungry(because I'm 9 months pregnant, I'm always hungry) so I was eating pasta and I guess I wasn't paying enugh attention to what I was doing because I bit a HUGE chunk of my lip off and now it's all swollen and kinda green and hurts like crazy!. Should I go to the doctor or just let it heal on it's own!.!.!.is there anything I can do for the pain without taking medication because as I said I'm 9 months pregnant and being induced on mondayWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am no doctor but I would recommend getting to the doctor immediatly!. Especially if it's green and especially if you are pregnant!. You don't want to do anything to harm you or the baby!! Good luck and congratulations!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I agree with Laura!. Go see a doctor just to make sure!. The green colour could just be the antibodies fighting to heal the wound which is ok!. It could also be an infection tho and that definitely needs proper medical advice!. Good luck with the birth and early congratulations to you :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
