Answers:
The air pressure in the plane made your ear pop!. Try to get it to pop again: swallow several times in rapid succession; chew gum; pinch your nose and blow *lightly*-- if you blow too hard you can damage your eardrums!.
If that doesn't work, you're just going to have to wait for the antibiotics to take care of the infection!. If you finish the antibiotics and you're still having a problem, see the doctor again!. But it should go away on its own as you continue with the antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had to fly home from Jamaica ( 9 hour flight) with a terrible cold!. When I got off the plane I was in agony with an earache!. I didn't have an infection, but air got trapped in my ear!. I couldn't hear either!. The Dr said it would slowly leak out!. I remember it was like having water stuck in your ear!. Whenever I blew my nose, my ear whistled!. It drove me nuts, and actually took about 3 weeks before I was back to normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
