Bilateral Achilles tendon agony?!

I am an Athletic Trainer and I treat injuries for a living, but I can not seem to help myself!. I have bilateral knots of my achilles about two inches above the calcaneal insertion!. I limp like a 80 year old with a worn out body, but i am only half that age!. My hip is starting to hurt due to my horific gate!. The knots are terribly painful to touch!. Rest helps a little, but it always returns with a vengeance !. My job involves long hours and fairly physically demanding, on my feet constantly!.

I have tried all modalites (unltrasound, whirlpool, ice!. massage, stretching, nitroglycerin patches), nothing is even worth doing anymore!.

Anyone out there that has a vast knowlege of this situation!? Anyone else have this problem!? Lets have a pity party!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
