Pulled hamstring with track conference tomorrow! what do I do?!


Question: Pulled hamstring with track conference tomorrow! what do I do!?
Yesterday I fell over a hurdle during practice and injured my leg!. I think, though I'm to sure I pulled a hamstring, because i have the symptoms of a grade b injury, although i don't have swelling!. Does anyone know if I really did pull a hamstring!? And now I don't know if I should at least try to run or not, because if I don't I'll be letting the team down and I know a lot of people will make fun of me for it too!. I tripped over a hurdle during our first track meet and a few made fun of me, so if people know I injured it just practicing I'll be talked about a lot!. Help asap!Www@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT TRY TO RUN ON IT! if you did pull a hamstring, people will be a lot more dissapointed if you have to stop running because you caused such a severe injury to yourself, you shouldnt care about what other people think and if you have to hurt yourself all of those people wil be saying that they told you not to runWww@Answer-Health@Com

IF you pulled the hamstring and don't get the right treatment for it and you run tomorrow, you can easily worsen the injury and this will keep you off the track longer!. Do you have an athletic trainer in your program!? This would be the best person to go to to get an evaluation and appropriate treatment!. Ice packs can help with the pain and swelling of the injured muscle meanwhile!. You may be able to run safely with the right bandaging and therapy, but be safe and cautious!.!.!.!.!.don't let pride allow you to risk further more serious injury or a sense of duty to the team!.!.!.!.!.you will be of more value down the road healthy and running, than sidelined for weeks while you heal if you make it worse by running prematurely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
