Will changing my bed linen less than once every 3 months really cause me any har!

Question: Will changing my bed linen less than once every 3 months really cause me any harm!?
I live by myself and I sleep on a mattress on the floor where it is nice and dark after working nights!. I have not shared my bed with anybody else for years!. I know a lot on Yahoo answers say you should chenge your bed linen at least once per week!. My plan to do this seems to have got stuck , as I find due to my long working hours I just forget and anyway launderette is costly and takes time!. Also I have heard a very clean bed is much more likely for get visited by bedbugs and if inviting they will lay their eggs in your mattress but if sheets are soiled they go next door!? I have checked mine just before dawn and not a sign of any bedbugs!. I do now have a bath before going to bed to help me get relaxed and a shower after going on my runs when I am very sweaty!.So is there really any need to change my sheets and duvet and pillow cases every month!? My health seems OK!. I have never missed a shift at work for years due any illness!. If you think I am lazy or disgusting !.please say so!?!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
as a fellow night shift worker may I submit yes you are indeed LAZY and you are also utterly DISGUSTING! I? hope nobody else in YA is going to dispute that!. I would go further and sway you are filthy and unhygienic and am not surprised nobody will share your bed with you because it is highly likely that you stink but you may not be aware of that yourself!.What you say about Bedbugs going next door if they find a bed is dirty does not correspond with the facts!. Bedbugs find people by their smell and that is what will attract them to your bed!. Once they have found a bed and enjoyed their first meal on you in your bed they are likely to **** in your bed then fornicate and then lay their eggs in or near their new home!.

Meaning more and more bedbugs will visit you as more and more eggs hatch!. They will not go elsewhere!.as you seem to believe, but if they did people who are clean and hygienic UNLIKE YOU will find them and take action to get rid of them,!. You are clearly too bloody lazy to bother!. Also as other answerer's have pointed out you sweat and dust mites will multiply in your bed too!.You can not see them with the naked eye but believe me with your habits and laziness there will be millions sharing your filthy bed with you

The long term effect will be millions of them shitting in your bed and the effect on you will be,coughing, breathing problems while you sleep and ultimately lung damage preventing you working, so leading to unemployment, poverty and misery!.

That is the harm you will bring on yourself if you carry on being so lazy and disgusting!!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would think changing them once a month isn't too bad if there's just you, but i would be hoovering my mattress as well to get rid of dust mites!Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you dont stand the sheets up in a corner when you do change them- so they don't fall on you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you are lazy AND disgusting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your state of mind will greatly benefit from - freshly laundered cotton sheets, smelling of outside, a couple of candles & some fresh cut flowers!.
Having a bath before bed is a lovely idea to relax your body & mind , especially as you are sleeping during the day , but imagine that squeeky clean body wrapped in 3 months of filth on the sheets!
Do it for yourself - wash thenm by hand if the launderette is too expensive the first night you get into those crisp sheets, you'll never look back!. And you might strt to share it with somone & a bit of heightened self esteem!!!!

Edit@cimex - i think this guy has got himself into a bit of a rutt & i think you are too harsh - obviously not lazy as he says in his question he works very long hours - obviously a bit of a loner - sleeps on a floor on the matress - i change all of the beds in my house once a week & actually YOU disgust me - for not giving this guy the chance to change!.!.!.!.!.!.!. its all very easy to say if wifey does it all for you! Don't judge somone asking for help to CHANGE!Www@Answer-Health@Com

being honest (which you asked us to be) I think its rather horrible!. Millions of your skin cells are shead every night which fall on your sheets, matress and pillows and bed bugs must love u! its not only the beg bugs, what about sweat and bateria!?
I have a really busy life aswell often involving 18 - 20 hrs of work each day, but I change my bedding at least every 2 weeks!.

Sleeping on fresh bedding is a really lovely feeling, you should do it for that if nothing else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
