Pain issues???!
Question: Pain issues!?!?!?
My friend sliced his finger open while sleeping over at my house last night!. It bled quite a lot for awhile, but after that it stopped and we bandaged it up!. Well, today at school he was complaining about serious pain in that finger and that it bled for ten minutes in class!. He says he keeps cleaning it because he thinks the blood is irritating the cut!. Could he still have an infection!? Or does the cut just hurt because the skin was sliced open!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had many cuts in my life, so the info I have are from my own experiences: My finger was cut and it was so deep it had seemed that it would never stop!. but when it did I bandaged it up and used a couple Popsicle sticks to hold it up right (I broke it too) but when it healed it just wasn't the same!. Apparently I cut some ligaments and should have went to the doctor!. Another time I was stabbed in the leg and I just put Peroxide on it and it healed up fine!. A different time I cut myself with something and I didn't take care of it like I should have (similar to my finger) not knowing how deep it was and it got infected and I had to go to the doctor because I had gotten a staff infection!. Couple other times after that I just went to the doctor to be safe, always ended up getting stitches once I got there!. All cuts hurt!. Especially paper cuts! If you don't want to go to the doctor make sure you clean it!. Like I said I like peroxide but they say it shouldn't be poured into an open wound!. I don't know!. Needs to see a Doctor and soon!.!.!.!.should have probably had stitches last night, along with a tetanus shot and, maybe, an antibiotic, to prevent infection!. Let him know tonight!.!.!.a cut that deep can be dangerous if infected, kjlWww@Answer-Health@Com
sounds like he should had gone to the emergency room for sticthes!. as hairstylist, we cut our fingers a lot!. we get sent to the emergency room if it is a serious cut!. please, have someone check it out, don't wait to long!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
He needs to go to a doctor, the finger may need stitches and he maybe a tetness shot, which would prevent the infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
