Question: Leg crushed by two cars!.!.!.!?
I was helping my little brother park his car, because he's a new driver!. I was standing between his car and the car behind him, and my left leg was squashed!. It didn't really hurt, but I just felt a huge force/pressure on my leg!. Right now, my whole left leg feels heavy and a bit numb!. I can still walk though!. It feels like the after effect of a hard punch in the arm!. Is it necessary to go to the doctor, or will it be okay!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you Can walk on it, the bone is not broken but you have a crush injury to the soft tissues of the leg (muscles, blood vessels, nerves) and you are at risk for getting a blood clot!. Staying active keeps the blood moving and a clot less likely but you should see a doctor with 24 hours and if your leg swells alot or begins to hurt alot, don't wait, but go to an emergency room so they can do an ultrasound on it and look at blood flow in the leg!. If the numbness doesn't resolve, there could be a bruising of the nerve, and it may take days or weeks to heal!.

Ummm, you might want to see a doc just to make sure you didn't bust open an artery and are slowly bleeding internally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
