Glass found in wound 2 weeks after injury...?!

Question: Glass found in wound 2 weeks after injury!.!.!.!?
Two weeks ago I was skateboarding, and fell pretty badly, there was a gash in my middle finger, I went to the school nurse and she covered it up and put some rubbing alcohol over it!.
Today i found a little crystal looking thing sticking out of my wound so we i put some hydrogen peroxide on it and i pulled the glass out, it was about 2 cm in width and 3 cm in length and 2 cm in height!.
After removing the glass I find the wound is still open, no longer bleeding, but i can see the tissue!.!.!.What should I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the doc unless you are a hardcore survivalist like me!. !. !. The glass will work itself out usually, but that size and a gaping hole will cause an infection 9 times out of 10 :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

While it has been too long to get stitches, you need to go to the doctor and have him/her check for more glass in the wound!. If the remaining glass is not removed (if there is any more), it will cause you more problems in the future in which you would have to have it surgically removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well my big sister fell over when she was 2 and landed on glass, when she was 21 she noticed a little lump on her forehead, and when she rubbed it a piece of glass that had been there for 19 years came out, so the glass might not cause problems, but still get it seen to by a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com

If the glas was deep into your finger it is normal that it wouldn't have worked itself out until now!. If you can still see the tissue you may need to go to a doctor so they can help prevent infection,do you have a tetnis shot!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

that happened to be except it was in my knee and it pushed itself out, i didnt go to the doctor or anything but your wound should heal by itself !Www@Answer-Health@Com

see a doc!.!. as soon as possible!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
