hi um i just got my 6th piercing on my ear lobes done on 9th May 2008!.!.!.the person who pierced me told me it could be taken off after 3 days!. So i went back on 11 May to get it taken off (not sure if too early) and the piercer took it off and say it was just fine!.!.so i changed it to a transparent ear stick which is made of plastic and my father =!.= kinda bump into me!.!.!.!.and the piercing (JUST put the plastic ear stud!.) kinda fall off!.!. the ear stick dropped to the ground and my ear kinda bleeds and i was afraid that the hole will close so i quickly take my old ear stud used to pierce me and put it back in (while its bleeding) and i sprayed it with alcohol!.!.and after about 3 hours i decided to take it off to clean it as it bleeding 3 hours ago!. when i took it out i found a clear liquid!.!.!.(experienced it before) and i put alcohol to clean it!.!. when i put the new plastic stud, it began to have a little bump on the back!.!.help!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's perfectly normal it means that your ear is infected
you need to clean around the pierced area with hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alchohol (more effective) and clean the entire piercing stud with one of these as well continue to drain the liquid out if you experience too much pain go back to the piercing place and they will give you some type of fix
they may also reccommend letting it close up and re-piercing it after it has healed

the swelling that you feel in the back is pretty much like a little pimple!. I have them and they wont hurt you!. Let it disolve on its own!. Just keep cleaning it with alcohol and you may want to go to a different person and have them check that you havent pierced through a blood vessel!. Even if you have it will heal on its own!. Your ear lobes are actually one of the slowest parts of your body to heal because it is cartliage!. Dont worry, it will heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
