Question: What are the types all of shifts that paramedics have!?
Do they sometimes work a 24 hour shift or a 9-5 kind of shift!. what would be a good shift for a mother with 3 kids!?

The majority of paramedics work a 24 hour on/48 hour off shift, or some variation of this!. That might work out well as long as you have a willing spouse, significant other, or friend who's willing to care for your kids while you are on shift!.
Another fairly common shift is 12 hours on with 12 hours off!. With this schedule, you'll usually get 3 or 4 days off after working 12 on/12 off for several days!.
However, it's completely possible to find 8 hour shifts!.!.!.
