Ear Issues?!

Question: Ear Issues!?
Well, I recently went to MEPS to join the Air Force, and I passed everything but my Hearing Test!. I have always had this thing where I will get an ear infection and not even know it!.

Well, when I took the test I got H3, which means complete hearing loss in my left ear!. I am 18, and that is obviously not true!. So I went to the doctors office, and I have a massive build up of wax as well as a rupture in my ear drum!. Gives me antibiotics the works, and tells me to come back in two week!.

When I tested to see if it was improving I use the High Pitch ring tone on my Cell phone to test and see if I can hear it!. At first I couldn't hear a thing, and now I hear it perfectly well!.

Getting to the point, I have an question about when I attempt to pop my ears!. When I hold my nose and close my mouth and blow my right ear pops, but there is a steady flow of air coming out of my left ear!. Does that mean the Infection still remains!? Or is that normal!? Keep in mind, I FEEL the air coming out!.

I'm not a professional and I do not have diagnostic capabilities, but the rushing air from your left ear sounds indicative of the ruptured tympanic membrane (eardrum) not being completely healed yet!.

By the way, didn't anyone ever tell you that you could injure your eardrums by popping them in that manner!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not really sure what to tell you, so I'll just say,"it doesn't sound very good for you!. and see an ears, nose and throat specialist as soon as possible!"Www@Answer-Health@Com
