Question: HIPPA question!. Policies!?

Are there requirements for covered entities to have
written privacy policies!? If so, what has to be addressed
in the policy!?

yes there are requirements for privacy policies!. patients must be provided a copy of the facility/provider's policy - or offered a copy (you don't have to take it)!. it covers who can get your records, who the office can speak to regarding your condition etc!. it's actually too complicated to explain here!. i took several classes on it & it's still complicated
