Question: A match head flew into my husbands eye, what first aid can we do!?
A burning match head flew into my husbands eye!. He's rinsing it with contact lens solution!. He isn't going to the ER!. Could we appy an eye ointment, like neomycin!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

He really should go to Er hun!. He could have damaged the lens in his eye, but if he doesn't want to go, I think, if it was me, i would keep rinsing it with clear water, maybe with a tiny bit of salt, and go to your pharmacy tommorow for some "everyday" eye ointment!.
If he HAS burnt the lens, I would think any over the counter ointments, which contain chemicals, may aggrevate it!. Check with your pharmacy!.
We all need our eyes! So don't take risks!. Can you not ring your ER and ask for advice, rather than going there!?
