Sharp pain in side?!
Question: Sharp pain in side!?
It occurs in my left side about 8 ribs up from the bottom (underneath the rib)!. It periodically (once a month or so) has a very sharp pain making it painful to breath in!. It's been happening as long as I can remember!. It is not triggered by exercise!.
I went to a specialist as a child and they didn't find a problem!. I think that's because i was 5 and couldn't properly describe the location (i used to say it was in my heart, but now i know that's not where it is)!.

I have experienced something very very similar to what you are describing and have had it as long as I can remember!. I regret to tell you that I haven't found an answer either!. It seems that I feel this sensation more than once a month, maybe about 3 times a month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Actually it sounds like gas!. I take 2 of the new Gas-X Softgels!. They work awesome and are tiny lil' pills!.
Also get tested for asthma!. I have an inhaler when needed!. Sometimes I have to use that!. Mostly it's gas so I lay off carbonated drinks now and spicy foods, tomatoe sauce and milk!. OH that spray cream in the can kills me too!
