Need a Knee specialist or Orthopedist... Mest up knee big time.?!

Question: Need a Knee specialist or Orthopedist!.!.!. Mest up knee big time!.!?
In high school I injured my knee playing sports!. Now my knee will popout and go sideways if I pivot on it or try to be active as I once was!. Not only does this hurt extremely bad but it also swells up and is almost un-usable for several weeks!. Also If standing straight up my bad knee BOWS backword like 15-20 degrees!. Some have called this "cheerleaders knee"!.!. ITS WEIRD!. I have seen a Orthopedic Surgeon He said that I have extremely "loose" knees and it worried him because of my past sports related injury!. I have not had a MRI, but what I want to know is what might be wrong with my knee!? And how can I strengthen my knee to be active again and possibly without surgery!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
i agree that u need to get an MRI and asap!.!.!.!. u may need to have surgery to repair the damage, but a GOOD knee brace and GOOD PT may do the trick!.!.!.

however the first thing that needs to be done is the MRI

If you tore a ligament, you might need surgery!. You might have dislocated your knee cap too- you'll have to wear a knee brace of some sort for sure though, if you want it to heal!.

You're probably going to need physical therapy for your knee in order to strengthen it!.

Get an MRI and see what your doctor says!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't sound good at all!. You probably injured one of your ligaments in there!. These injuries don't often heal very well without surgery!. You can wear knee braces but your best bet would be to get that MRI and see what can be done for your knees!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
