Question: Does not taking pain meds mean I'll lose disability!?
i have been on disability due to an injury that has basically crippled me and caused me to be bedridden unless if i take pain meds (percocet) and other muscle relaxers, antidepressants, etc!.!. If I stop taking these meds because they make me so sick and I'm so fed up with popping pills all day, will my doc say i'm able to work!? i'd rather stay in the bed with pain all day than continue down this road of pills!.
and please don't judge me about being able to work!. only i know the extent of my pain and it is EXTREME!. i have worked for 24yrs straight in warehouses/physical labor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take your medication and continue to follow your Doctor's recommendations! You need the medication AND to be off work! You can do both and no one should judge you! 24 years of physical labor and daily abuse to your muscular-skeletal system have earned you that, I'm sad to say!. Now, stop judging yourself! Taking pills for pain and/or depression is not a sign of addiction, abuse or weakness!. Give yourself the same break you want others to give you! Take your medicine! kjlWww@Answer-Health@Com
Jenna, I am sure you can but maybe just ask your Dr if you can cut them by half and see if you feel less drugged!. I feel for you,if that helps any:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
