Question: Hate doctors!.!.!.!.!? need advice)!?
ok so at first i didn't even want to do sport because of phisical, but yeah it's stupid so i guess i'm going!. even though i'll probably survive the exam, is there a way i can ask them to not take blood!? i just can't stand needles!. i know i'll be ok w/ a shot or two, but not blood sample!.!.!.!. seriously!.!.!. can they do the exam w/o blood!?
and um i hope they are not going to look "down there"!?

we do sports physicals at my job and bloodwork is not usually part of the exam!. They often do have to check your hemoglobin, so they might prick your finger for a drop of blood!. Just so you know for the future, having your finger pricked hurts more than having blood drawn because of the fact thatthere are more nerve endings in your fingers!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You absolutely do NOT have to do anything that you are not comfortable with!. You have the right to refuse any medical treatment or test that you want to!. Remember you pay them, they are providing a service to you, so you can call the shots!.
Can you bring your mom or an older friend with you into the doctors exam room!? That might make you feel better!.
Unless you are sexually active or are having problems with your menstrual cycle (period) they should not look "down there!." Even if you are sexually active, you can still refuse treatment (although in that case you probably should see a dr)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
