Whats the best way to get a crick out of my neck?!

Question: Whats the best way to get a crick out of my neck!?
Answers:
I'm a nurse and this exercise was shown to me by a physical therapist!. It really works!

1!. Place the palm of your hand on the side of your face that is effected!. Your ear should be sort of cradled in the grove between your thumb and first finger!. If this position isn't comfortable, place the palm of your hand on your cheekbone with your thumb resting in front of your ear!. (It's hard to describe !.!.!. easier to show you!.!. lol)!.

2!. Hold your hand stiffly as a barrier and force your head to turn into your stiff hand!. Your hand should be stiff enough not to allow the neck to turn!. You'll be pressing the side of your face into your hand!. Release and repeat a few times!.

3!. Remove your hand and turn your neck freely!. You should notice it is much better!.

Hope this helps! It always works for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Massage and heat (heating pad or Bengay)!. Be careful about how you sleep!. You didn't say how you came to get the crick!. If you woke up with it, this recommendation should work!.

If you were active and moved the wrong way and suddenly got the feeling in your neck, you may want to see your doctor!. It could be more than a crick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try rolling your neck around, slowly though while adding a smidge of pressure!. If that doesn't that crick out, then try a mass-, masseuse,!.!.!. Did I spell that right!? Well, I'm trying to say that you could go to that person who does massages! Lol (It's getting late, and I can't spell!.!.!. Maybe I need a massager!)Www@Answer-Health@Com
