Why do we laugh at other people's pain?!

I think the main reason why people do this is simply because they do not understand, or have not been exposed to something like this before!.!.!. I can tell you that the first time you see the frighten and suffering eyes of someone in the later stages of cancer dying and knowing that nothing can be done for them, it is truly a life altering experience!.!.!.!. Meaning, after seeing something as emotionally painful as that, you would never see any enjoyment in someone's pain ever again!.!.!.!.

I don't laugh at other people's pain!. Ever!. I think the last time I did was when I was a little kid!.
I can only guess as to why other's do!. My best guess is!.!.!. lack of experience!. Experience breeds compassion!. Without it, it can be easy for someone to behave without compassion!. In this way, I've seen people laugh at things they don't understand, or as a way of minimizing focus on their own pain!. It can also be a way they acheive a pseudo sense of power, as a result of feeling profoundly powerless!.

PS: I am assuming that we're not talking about seeing someone trip, but real pain!. However, nowadays, even if I see someone trip, my reaction is "Are you ok!?", not "HAHA, you fool!." It's hard to relate to folks that laugh!. My mom is one of these people that laughs!. I just don't get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many of us laugh at peoples pain because it is just funny to see how the person reacts when they get hurt!. Ofcourse, when we get hurt ourselves it's not as funny!.
I susspose it helps because it makes things a little more positive!. But it's just generally funny to see all the different types of reaction!.

Cuz sometimes it's funny!. Like when someone trips, it's kinda funny cuz they're so clumsy!. I also laugh when i trip, cuz it's kinda embarrassingWww@Answer-Health@Com
