Ear ache and hearing loss??!

Question: Ear ache and hearing loss!?!?
I have had a million earaches in my life, and have an eardrum with a permenant hole in it because it ruptured about 20 times over my lifetime, and I am 17!. Last saturday night I had a really bad ear ache in my 'good' ear and i put drops in there and took an ibprofen and now there is no pain but terrible pressure and i cannot hear at all out of that ear!. I dont really think that my eardrum busted but i can't tell!. I think i am going to the doctor tommorow!. What should I do to help the pressure and I cannot stand not being able to hear!. I already was legally deaf in my other ear and now this, i cannot stand it, any suggestions or advice!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You definitely need to see the doctor and I am glad you have plans to!. I have had earaches my whole life as well and I noticed aspirin and trying to pop the ear really works but it depends on what kind of "pressure" you're talking about, though!. Is it just from the ear inside alone or all over your head and neck!? Earaches tend to be a form of infection so you cannot really do anything until you get antibiotics or whatever from the doctor except alleviate it with aspirin!. By the way, nothing is wrong with being totally Deaf if you cannot help it!. That is why we have different modes of communication; sign language, for one!. I do understand that you being able to hear your whole life can be scary knowing you could end up totally Deaf!. Also, remember there are hearing aids out there and cochlear implants which could work since you already have "hearing" knowledge of sounds in general as opposed to a baby who turned Deaf!. I hope your doctor finds out what is wrong and resolves your earaches, though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get it checked out!. or you may be developing a cold but yes get it checked out you don'y want to be getting totally deaf!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
