Cocoa butter is good for scars!. You can get it in a tub, where it's thick and pastelike and this is more concentrated than just the lotions that have it added!. They also make prescription cream for that!. Talk to a doctor about getting that if you're really concerned!. And with the cocoa butter, you should put it on as many times a day as you think abou it, but especially after washing your hands, using hand sanitizer, or bathing-these all take moisture out of your skin!. At night you can even put on a lot of the cocoa butter, and wear a glove while you're sleeping, to hold it on your skin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When my daughter's cut(no stitiches) started to heal, the doctor said to use Vit E oil on it!.
I can't say how well this worked tho, she has a very large nasty looking scar to this day but it was a nasty cut!. It may have looked worse without using it tho but there is no way to tell for sure!.
There are other products you can buy that is suppose to help with scars but I am not sure what the names are right off the top of my head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Our neighbors son got bit by a dog on his face, he had a large wound right next to his mouth!. She used Mederma for scars on it constantly, and now it is nothing more than a slight white line, if you did not know, you never would notice it!. It all depends on the injury and the severity and how clean the cut was!. Good luck to you- and scars are not so bad!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello,, get some Vitamin E, and put it on at least once a day!. While the stitches are still in!. It will promote healing but while the stitches are in ,, only once a day!. Once the stitches come out,, then you should put it on at least three times a day!. It really works!. You'll probably still have a scar,, but if your doctor did his work right,, it shouldn't be very bad!. Hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
