Which would you rather be? blind or def?!
Question: Which would you rather be!? blind or def!?
Answers:
NEITHER
But if God made me chose I would pick deaf!. I can live without hearing but seeing is so much harder!. Never watch TV, play poker, see my families faces, read a book, read the news, ride a bike, drive a car, play golf etc!.
When deaf you can do all of the above and more!. The only hard part would be never hearing music again!. That would be torture!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Deaf, probably!. Although I love music, and I love my friends, I would stand to lose more should I become blind, and, besides, there are lip-reading techniques that can still be relatively effective!.
Because my ambitions have always been academic (and thus reading-orientated), and because I would find the physical confinement that blindness brings quite difficult to bear, I would have to choose deafness!.
A difficult question, but I don't think I'd waver in my choice if I had to make it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It' probably most credible to hear the opinion of someone who knows what life is like without these senses!.
Helen Keller, who was afflicted with both, said that if she could have one sense restored and had to choose between the two, she would prefer to have her hearing restored over her vision!. She also said that she was perfectly happy the way she was, without either one!. Interesting, isn't it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
