I took 2 aleve at 10:30pm it is now midnight can i take a hydrocodone painkiller!

The hydrocodone in the US has another medication combined with it!. This is usually either acetaminophen (often labeled APAP) or ibuprofen!. If the Hydrocodone has ibuprofen, such as Vicoprofen, you should not ad it to a second NSAID, such as naproxen which is found in Aleve!. However, if it is combined with APAP, such as Norco, or VIcodin (labeled in generic as hydrocodone/APAP) then the Aleve can be taken at the same time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can take aleve with vicodin ect!.!. I have Rhuematoid arthritis and I take vicodin and naproxyn (same as aleve) at the same time!. It is kind of like a kicker for the vicodin!. Good Luck!. Toothaches are the worse!. Vicodin and ect!.!.!. have tylenol in it!. The aleve is an anitiflamatory which should help with the tooth pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, there would not be a problem in doing that!. The worst that will happen is the codeine in hydrocodone will cause the Aleve/Naproxen you took to work less efficiently, but it won't matter because hydrocodone is strong enough to take care of your pain by it self!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call your doctor or even a pharmacy and ask them!.
I wouldn't take the hydrocodone that close to taking the Aleve tho!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
