I once went to get a mole removed but the anesthetic didn't work and i felt everything but didn't ask, if you can feel pain make sure you ask!.
Most of the time it is effective as i have had injection in my mouth which lasted about 6 hours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will usually last around 6 hours, depending on where it is administered!. Some areas of the body will be under anasthetic for longer than others, depending on a whole lot of factors!. It is very effective, generally you will feel some slight pressure, but no pain!. The best advise I can give is just speak to your doctor a lot, ask all the stupid questions, coz its better your clear on it all than that your not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Generally is around 6 to 7 hours in most people!. It will also depend on how much he has used and where it is used!.

Yes it is very effective!. You will not feel any pain but still will be able to feel touch!. they both use different receptors in the brain!.

There are different types of anaesthetic too!.
Just plain Xylocaine which will numb the area!.
Xylocaine with 1% or 2% adrenaline to decress bleeding!.

The Doctor will always make sure before he starts that he has injected enough!.
If you feel any discomfort ask for some more!. DO NOT BE AFFRAID to ask for this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is very effective and depending on how much they give you will depend on how long it lasts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
